Our Staff
The quality and professionalism of Cascade Care’s staff are essential to the success of our community-based offender mental healthcare and rehabilitation services in London and the South East.
Cascade Care’s home managers and deputies are appointed for their knowledge and experience of working with service users with challenging and complex mental health needs. All staff this level are graduates or have attained NVQ Level 4 level in, typically, forensic psychology, psychiatric nursing, social work, forensic social work or substance abuse counselling.
Our home managers also demonstrate the ability to lead and support staff and to act as ambassadors for Cascade Care in the community local to their home.
All support staff are trained to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and our mental healthcare professionals receive extensive and ongoing clinical and therapeutic training, with Continuous Personal Development (CDP) plans in place to provide structured career pathways.
Our ongoing investment in training contributes to high levels of staff retention this continuity supports the rehabilitation, recovery and reduced reoffending we achieve for our service users.
